solarbirdOkay, this is possibly going to turn to rain today, and given the temperature rise I think that's likely. A lot of people are going "Yay! Rain! It'll wash all this away!"
Sure, eventually. But first, it'll make the snow really, really fucking heavy. And then it'll crush light structures with roofs or other large, flat, snow-collecting areas. We have over 30cm of snow on our front porch (over 34cm on grass) and I'm shovelling the porch off now, while it's snow and not waterlogged snow with an ice base, which is what it'll be tomorrow.
If you have carports or other similar structures, I strongly recommend you do the same.
