I finally ordered two of my own CafePress mugs. (I have them in two stores, here, and here.) They actually do look pretty good; the transfers are better than I expected. The League mugs aren't as well-centred as I'd like, which I don't understand entirely since both designs are centred in exactly the same places, so I suspect it's margin of error. Anyway, here's what they look like:





The motto text on the League mugs ("Showing those bastards what-for since 1985") is small and a little fuzzy but entirely readable - flashfire read it as soon as he looked at them and laughed.

The blacks are very black; there's a couple of things that look like lighter areas but that's just reflection on the shiny, shiny finish.

The CMMDDRDT Stein is totally my favorite cup to use, and the League mug I got for skellington1 was very well received. I'm planning on getting a few more of the mugs and steins as gifts for friends, but haven't had the money.

Do you ever microwave stuff in them? If so, has that been okay? I reheat my tea sometimes.

I don't have a microwave, so I haven't. I seem to recall hearing somewhere that CafePress mugs do OK in the Microwave, though.
