Six days and counting

Today I woke up with a sore throat and panicked a little - but it turned out to be sinus, and not really throat. Hopefully that's all it is and all it's gonna be.

It took two sessions to get through the 9th. I sound rotten. But, two sessions is better than three is better than not getting through it before I have to stop.

Five additional rehearsal days remaining.

Which reminds me, we should carpool to the rehearsal on the 14th. Would be dumb not to. Oh and also take absolutely the bare minimum of stuff to the rehearsal -- due to security concerns with the Dalai Lama, given what's going on in Tibet, we will all be subject to a metal detection, pat-down, AND bag search.

ETA: AND the performance, of course. The members of the orchestra, who are sharing a platform with His Holiness, are being subjected to a full background check.

Nng. My only all-black ensemble is all velvet. Mmmmm, toasty warm.
