A New Year
I haven't felt like posting economics or politics lately. I've been doing more music. I haven't gone away tho'. I may do an econ post tomorrow; I'll pico-preview it by noting that the ratings agencies did exactly what was suggested earlier, and used the $3B pseudo-"bailout" as an excuse to prop up fraudulent ratings for the monoline insurers. I rather think they've more destroyed their own credibility than anything else, but we'll see.
Oh, and jumping away from that, here are some very, very nice pictures of Heian Shrine, in the winter.
