annathepiper and I are heading down to Conflikt on a one-day trip. We're going to see Sooz and Betsy in concert, and then Callie in concert, and hang out a lot in the open filk (before more than after, I kind of expect) where I'm going to try to get some more experience playing my stuff in front of other people. I might add my newest song to my tiny playlist - at least a shorter form of it, which I think will be reasonable without the other three (two percussion, one vocal) parts. So it'd be just the flute bits, basically, but that's still a coherent song, if less interesting than the full thing.
Any percussionists on my friendslist going to be there? Do you know rhythm notation, have bamboo sticks, and like shouting?
The stupid thing is, I don't give a rat's ass about ritual. Seriously, I don't. At all. I find ritual pointless and annoying, and I hate doing the same things over and over again as a rule. Stupid quizzes, you get smarter now!
