and why do i end up doing all this transcription (and writing for that matter hello weird 14 bars of new song that go NOWHERE) at 2am?

(ps: do not confuse my exasperation with talent. but on the plus side i need to make more staff paper now. 10 sheets is not a lot but i'm out and i'm maybe halfway? though transcribing stuff. i forget.)

Either you're in a different time signature than you think you are (have you suddenly moved to 6/8?) or you need to re-beam some of your notes.

Please don't take this as schadenfreude*, but your fits of exasperation are works of art in themselves. I honestly don't know anyone else who can lose their temper with such composure, or be so eloquently inarticulate.

If that's not talent, I don't know what is.

There really is not a specific English word for this. It's amazing, innit? However, schadenfreude is generally understood, while still recognised as foreign, which means it's probably in the process of being imported.

As for exasperation as entertainment, I am glad that at least my inner enraged chipmunk has found her audience. ^_^
