It doesn't matter how much you think you're trying to keep people safe while doing it. It doesn't matter how much you *say* you're trying to keep people safe while doing it. You need a spirit of service, a heart for protecting *everybody*, and an ironclad *devotion* to the rule of law if you want to make a difference and save people's lives and liberties.
Or else all you're doing is tormenting people with one hand and writing your legal defense with the other.
