I HAVE A RESULT I HAVE A RESULT HOLY CRAP
Jun. 3rd, 2007 04:07 pmHoly crap! I have a result! I mean, aside from the trivial one I was expecting, I have an actual result! There's not nearly enough data to, like, publish for real or something, of course - I only have my own instead of an entire group's and it's only across a few weeks of bird observations - but HOLY CRAP I HAVE A RESULT!
It holds up across a couple of different measurement approaches, too. And it looks real purty in the graphs.
Yay! Results!
ETA: Now with crappy Excel graphs in the comments! Yay!

Date: 2007-06-04 12:41 am (UTC)(Mode 330/330; mean 350/376; median 400/400; closest actual data in all cases to averages is 330/330. To wit: rawk.)
You can see how tiny my dataset is here, unfortuantely. It's based on only 19 hours of observation. So I know I don't have nearly enough data to really make this a serious result for a real paper or something. But given what I have, I'm kinda pleased. ^_^
