Three inches of new snow in about an hour and a half; the prediction was for 1-3", so we've exceeded that already. Qwest Field Seahawks Stadium (dammit!) looks like a hockey rink, which is kind of neat on TV, since everybody looks really tiny as a result. annathepiper and spazzkat are on busses inching their way north on I-5, which is better than most of the cars on the street can say, as they're ... crap. Anna just phoned, she's off I-5 on 145th, but it's impassible and she's heading to the next stop (on Lake City Way) on foot.

Community Transit, the SnoHOmish County bus system, has shut down. Yeek.

6:11PM: 5" of snow out front now, 4" of which are new. Metro busses have stopped on some hills because of impassible roads.
