Remember, when I gave you my personal email address, how I said do not give it out to anybody, and in particular do not hand it to websites? That meant do not give it out to anybody, and, in particular, do not hand it to any fucking websites. This means any, this means you, and yes this includes evite.com and reunion.com and any other website you can think of anywhere, any time.

If you can't deal with that, I can hand you a disposable address and you can delete my real one from your address book. I have no tolerance for this. I've had to move email accounts too many times and start over, and I'm sick of it. Deal, or don't.

OH GOD I HATE THAT. I have a box for spammy things, and cow@livejournal.com points to that, so people can evite or whatever the fuck to cow@livejournal.com. But do they? No, they send it to my UW account, or to my personal address, and now those get spammed all to hell. HATE SO MUCH

Ugh.

I never give other people's e-mail addresses out to sites. Anyone who does it with mine can do all manner of unprintable things to themselves.

It's pretty much hopeless. For quite a while now, anyone asking for my email address usually gets the question "What do you use to read your mail?" posed to them. Any answer that includes the terms " on Windows", Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, etc gets an address improvised on the spot, which i then write down and make into a valid address for me when i get home. *anything* you hand to someone reading their mail via Windows mail readers is eventually harvested by spammer viruses/trojans [i doubt anyone ever actively gave one of my email addrs away, but they all inevitably escape), and I am also completely fed up with it. There's a special place in HELL for spammers and Mr. Gates.

Simpler to just move to the disposable sort of address. Eventually I'll code something to do the dirty work for me.
