Bagley Hall has no A/C. I did not know this. Bagley Hall is where Chem 142 has both lecture and three! hours! of afternoon! lab!

Said lab, of course, faces west. And the NWS says this is going to be a much warmer than average summer.

I. am going. to DIE.

Health Sciences has A/C! :D

I took a summer class in Bagley once. I dropped it during week 2. Now you know why. :)

At least one of the lecture halls (the larger ones) aren't so bad because the room is mostly concrete and slightly underground.

Granted, that meant on hot days it would eventually get MUGGY in there, but you can't have everything (I took a summer class in that hall once).

Flash back to late spring of ... 1999? 2000? I had my one of my digital signal processing lectures in Bagley, the one in the center of the building with no windows or walls against the outside of the building. Day after day after day in this sleep-deprived, sweltering hell, as a man with a unintelligable chinese accent describes convolution in discrete space for the fourtieth day in a row, an almost exact duplicate of the lecture the day before, and they day before that. He accompanies this lecture with an overhead projector, onto which he scrawls illegibly, and at an agle of approximately 65 degrees to horizontal. Student's heads slowly tilt throughout the lecture period to match the angle of the notes, but then inevitably continue their slow arc until they rest on top of the desk, breathing shallow. But it is too hot to sleep.
