solarbirdMy latest article for TechNet is up on microsoft.com, yay. It's too dense and despite that not nearly detailed enough and has no examples, but I only had 1500 words, which is already twice as many as they normally allocate for one of these things. The editor told me that really they really should have given me a third page from the start, but it was too late by that time. As it was, my two-page/1500-word couldn't be compressed into two physical pages, so they still had to lay it out in three, which is how one of the mini-articles in a series like the "How IT Works" series can end up with ads on its pages in print.

Date: 2006-03-04 04:51 pm (UTC)Regardless, it's not an uncommon mistake. We tend to get confused with each other a lot. If I was blonde I think it'd happen even more. (I'm the dark-haired one, she's the light-haired one. There, now you can tell us apart in the manga. ^_^ )
