Okay, we finally got the promised cold; -7.5°C last night, or 18°F, which doesn't sound as cold so isn't as fun to quote. I'm going to put up the birdhouse today; the flickers are starting to do the HAMMER HAMMER HAMMER thing on the chimney, so they're starting to try to attract mates.

Today's This American Life is very, very annoying. And now I feel dumb, hoping it was just this segment and that the next one would be better, as they usually are, but it was the last one, so it won't.

Here, another from the city series, I like this one. The lower water is Lake Union, the upper (more distant) water behind and visible over the hill is Lake Washington.

dpawtows got it in one - top of the space needle. More specifically, the observation deck, facing east northeast, late in the day, in stormy weather.
