Yes, it's a real building. Shot taken from the Space Needle, facing south; look yourself the next time you're showing a friend around town and hit the observation deck. All it needs is the SPV and model saloon car and Gerry Anderson is ready to start filming. Oh, and, the garden? It's rooftop. I love this building.

Wow, that does look like a miniature, doesn't it?
Part of it is the good maintenance, part of it is the distance, and part of it is the light. The light was amazing that day.

The lawn, I imagine, has a lot to do with just having total control over soil, nutrients, and drainage, plus good southern exposure during the winter. (I took that shot in November, when ravyngyngvar was in town visiting.)

Wow, that is so neat! I've only been up the Space Needle once, and it was dark - I didn't see this at all! I'm going to have to make another trip up sometime when it's still light out, to catch a glimpse. :)
