Props needed!

I need some props for a video shoot next weekend! Help out here?

Most difficult but really useful: A smashable guitar. Seriously, one I can smash and that you don't want back. It should already be broken, or a smashable/rebuildable prop. Fake is best but real? Only as long as it's not playable or reparable. I got ethics issues with smashing a viable instrument. I don't care what kind of guitar it is.

Not as difficult:

• Bullhorns and/or megaphones! Any kind. Five or six of 'em.
• Very silly glam-rock/costuming materials - terrifying wigs, boas, feather capes, anything glittery and bright that can be thrown on for what is literally a two-second shot. Shouldn't look good. I have some but could use more. Particularly capes.

What bank account? I got one for free from a repair shop. Somebody had a cheap student guitar and knocked the head completely off. We'll finish the job for them!

I could lend you my Jareth wig, if you were very careful with it.
I'm not willing to lend the jacket, which is very sparkly, but I'd wear it for your video.

Are you willing to dress up like that (or a reasonable facsimile) for between two and four seconds of video? Seriously, that's about how long it is in the final. (Probably four seconds.) I'll email you the current script revision so you can see.

When are you shooting? My weekend looks a little choppy, but I might be able to make it.

This scene will be shot Sunday afternoon. Exactly when is still TBD; I don't have most peoples' schedules yet, but the window is 1-6pm. With you included, it'll be the largest-group scene of the whole video, ignoring the crowd shots. If you have very tight scheduling, I can and will try to work with that. Most of these Sunday scenes I want to try to get in one or two takes; we simply don't have time for more. This one in particular we may need to assume we can get in one.

(If you can do it, in the glam scene, imagine you playing Bowie as Jareth, utterly exasperated at all this foolishness around him. ^_^)

I teach 12:00-2:30 in U District. It would be easier to get dressed at home and go over to Kenmore after that, if that works.

I would, in fact, love to be Jareth. I missed that a little at Faerieworlds this year.

Perfect. The Goblin King is always welcome in my home. ^_^ Phone my cell (sent in email) when you're getting here because we'll be shooting various places up and down the hill. By the time you're getting here (4pmish maybe?) we'll hopefully be back at the house for the final scenes, which will include this one.
