From Hell, actually. It's frosting up a lot faster than was predicted, and the pressure change is really noisy.

Well, we had to go outside and listen for it. But we could hear it, just barely. If there had been loud local noise, we wouldn't have been able to.

We also have the lake between us and downtown, which means zero (0) noise resistance. We can actually see downtown buildings from around the street, so it's kind of a straight shot.

Also, yes, they won the NFC Championship, which they've never done before, and are going to play in the Superbowl in two weeks. No, the superbowl is not in town, it's in Detroit, so you don't have to worry your cranky little head about it.

It is kinda cool that they won and are going to the superbowl.
I think every team should get at least one shot at that.....

But I just can't dig the pro sports thing...
I mean, million dollar "athletes" when we're not even paying to educate children?
And the list could go on from there....

It's really not the *sport* I have an issue with, but the nasty politics and shear gross unfairness of that industry really just sucks.

Seriously, these have close enough to nothing to do with each other that it's just strange. Yes, the I voted against the stadium too, because I don't think that's an appropriate function of government. Yes, I think education has to be improved dramatically - as anyone who knows me at all is well aware. But come on.
