Date: 2006-01-21 09:42 am (UTC)Why is it this bad? Simple - more than 50% of Americans go to college. Many (most, judging by this study) are incapable of college education, but because education from top to bottom seems to be dumbed-down in the US they can get that far.
The UK is going exactly the same way...and the only complaints are coming from the right. Which amazes me and makes me sad to be on the left.
