Ages ago, TSR wanted to put play money in with their spy game (Top Secret). They discovered that it would be cheaper to buy foreign currency and put that in the game instead, but they figured it would be in poor taste and prolly cause more complication than it solved so they didn't do it.
Still: foreign currency cheaper than play money . . . .
A friend of a friend; he was in the reserves and got sent to Iraq for a year. He brought back a bunch of them as giveaways and is now driving around the country, crashing at peoples' houses for a couple of days at a time. So he gave us a couple as souvineers.
These are the new, post-Saddam notes; he has a few from the Saddam-era too, but he's not giving them away.
