what a freak. how do you live in a shared space and not share utilities? I can see haviing issues with something like the phone where people might rack up individual charges and not come clean but electricity? c'mon!

Did she mean conservative politically, or did she mean that she's one of those people who conserve things? You know, the person who turns off lights when they're not in the room, set the thermostat at 60 degree's, and put lower wattage bulbs in everywhere.

If it's an issue for her, I'd suspect that maybe she got ripped off over shared utilities in the past.

It seemed to be an idealogical thing. But I didn't pursue it, since it was pretty pointless by then anyway.
