Idle question
Mar. 28th, 2004 05:30 pmWhere do they have bread (and pastry) trucks that work kind of like milkmen and kind of like ice cream trucks? Where they go around selling baked goods in neighbourhoods - ordinary bread, but also stickybun type pastries and such - directly to people and not to stores? And also, when? I'd be particularly interested in this going on in the late 60s and early 70s. Anybody know?

Talks about a bread truck route and a tasty treat that was sold on it.
