a small assortment of stuff
Jan. 31st, 2004 11:51 pmI think that if you sing hard and long enough that you work up a sweat, you've managed to have a pretty good session. Either that or I got unexpectedly and inexplicably nervous. Or both! ^_^ About an hour, warmup to putting on water for second tea. My throat is tired but I so don't care. ^_^ (Just tired. Not fuxx0red. Relax, Kathryn. ^_^ )
In other news, the tentative buyer for the other house toured the property today - they're a two-person partnership - and they had a lot of good things to say about the property. I don't think there'll be any issues coming up, tho' you never know. They also really like how I keep my paperwork, which is also good. And after that, I ran do to Ikea and got a new mirror for the bathroom, a kitchen rolling table, and a shelving unit, which wraps up the buying for Apt. 2.
I was in a great mood typing most of this, but then I went looking for houses and god, I'm depressed that we missed the Lake Forest Park house. There's just So. Much. Crap. out there. Oh well.

Escapes from society into a daydream where beauty
and adventure are all at her fingertips. She
still seeks to find aspects of her imagined
world in the real one, childlike almost in her
perspective, naive at times but genius at
others, a thirst for new ideas, new
information, new places all in the hope to find
what she longs for, but as of yet can only find
in her dreams...

I think this is right; bold is been there, italics is there now; underlined is lived there before.

Date: 2004-02-02 08:43 am (UTC)We're looking tonight at this house in Kenmore, which means living where the appliances are, but at least it's close to Burke-Gilman and good bus service. (It's .4 miles up the hill from Bothell/Lake City Way. Going to the bus will be much faster and easier than coming back from it.
