solarbirdFun day today; artjam actually had four people drawing and a couple of others hanging around. Shada's apartment has terrible lighting but I moved lamps around until it wasn't too bad. Today was all about inking; I mostly finished one pencil that's been sitting around for more months than I want to admit, and did a lot more work on a much more complicated Solarbird portrait that's got a lot more going for it than I realised before. 1. IF YOU COULD BUILD A HOUSE ANYWHERE WHERE WOULD IT BE?
Anywhere? (On Earth, anyway?) Any budget? Probably seamlessly into the side of a cliff on the northern side of Oahu, replacing the outer rock face with really, really, seriously thick glass, assuming that this could be done in an ecologically sane fashion. Which it can't be, of course, but I can dream. ^_^
2. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE ARTICLE OF CLOTHING?
Hm. I don't know! I really like the three print shirts I have, though.
3. FAVORITE PHYSICAL FEATURE OF THE APPROPRIATE SEX?
It was OPPOSITE, but I fixed it! On other girls: breasts! I admit it. Mmmmm, boobies! And strong shoulders. Chrrr. On boys: Flat, well-shaped chests. And good shoulders, again.
4. THE LAST CD THAT YOU BOUGHT?
Bought? <whistles idly> Actually, I'm completely blanking. I'm listening to DEVO's New Traditionalists (the Infinite Zero re-release) a lot lately, though.

My rice cooker and my really sharp chef's knife.

I can't think of any offhand that I can't already play that I really want to. I'd like to play all of them better, though.

Whoo. I dunno. Too many! For "recently published graphic novel," Unicorn Jelly. For recently read, I'd say American Gods. A sampling of favourites from the last n years: Anvil of Stars, Gun, With Occasional Music, China Mountain Zhang. I haven't been reading as much lately, which is no good.

17. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SEASON?
I like all of them, honestly - summer least, though. If snow is guaranteed on a regular basis, maybe winter. Otherwise spring or fall.

Alter reality. Or if you mean a classic superhero super-power, flight. If I get that one for free, shapeshifting.

I could very well be wrong, and I'm not sure why it would be something to believe in or not. :)
As for Japanese cartoons, I don't know what's on in Japan now either (well, I do vaguely know what's on, but I haven't actually seen any of it, oh except a couple eps of GitS:SAC which I think is still airing since it got a second season...), but Haibane Renmei is coming out nowish on DVD in the US and is mmmmm. Yay angels!
