Curious,.... Did you fill in the part for 'who are you looking for'??

If so, what did you fill in if I might ask?
I want to know how compatible I am with you, but not interested at this point to put my name out there to many otheres who might think I am interested in a relationship other then friends.

Yeah, I did. *^_^*;; I put in the stuff you'd expect (tho' there are atypically weird things in that and no way to handle it...) and I put that there're two of us, and we're looking for a guy; and I managed to trim the text field down to this (at EXACTLY 500 characters, from a much better 957 but they don't give you that much space):

Two elfgirls into making not-quite-trad music, computer geeking, art, writing, languages, SF/fantasy, gaming, biking, and other fun want to hear from a long-haired elf or dragon with a taste for the things we like and more. Ability to make us giggle and swoon required; speaking Japanese or Gaelic Irish is a bonus, as are skills at sweeping us off their collective feet, good shoulders and knee-melting smiles. No smokers, whiners, leeches or non-communicators; strong is good, silent - not so much.

The longer form was more like this:

We're two elfgirls, into making traditional music made a bit less traditional (me: flutes, vocals, her: mandolin, bouzouki, guitar, flutes, vocals), computer geeking (me: postmaster, her: SDE/T), sculpture (I work in glass), languages (me: Japanese, her: Irish Gaelic, German), SF and fantasy, some gaming, and whatever else seems fun. I bike; she runs. We'd love to hear from a longhaired elf or dragon with a taste for the things we like - art, music, computers, sciffy lit, providing shoulders on which to snuggle - and the interest in showing us something new. You should also be interested in being the male in a FFM triad. Ability to make us giggle and swoon required; speaking Japanese, Gaelic, Irish, Quenya, or Sindarin is a bonus, as would be lopsided rakish grins, skills at sweeping us off their collective feet, and knee-melting smiles. We like those. ^_^ No smokers, whiners, leeches, nor non-communicators; strong is good, silent - not so much.

Not that we're going to get anything out of it - even if the site did stay up long enough to use it,..

2 things:

1. I think the site is down.. you must have a lot of clout.. you find them, then everyone goes to them. :) hehe. Solarbird with the power.
I will have to wait till the site loads for me

2. But I liked the idea of finding out how compatible I was with you and others.... I thought it was more of a friend thing, vs a find someone to get into a more then friend relationship.... hmmmmm.. Wonder if Ryan would mind... Since we are not looking for romantic.

Wow.. I should go drag and come over.. hehehe.. I love what you put... We have to see each other more often :P I didn't know her spoke German.. must send an email.

<giggles> I doubt it! It was spreading pretty quickly already. I think I got it fromfirni but I'm not sure.

Also, you can fill it out for a friendship-only thing. It's one of the checkboxes. ^_^

I don't seem to be doing terribly well on the lists of most people. ;-)

But yeah, they need to upgrade their servers faster. They're stupid if they didn't think this would take off quickly. People are lemmings.
