Republicans in Wisconsin have blocked school vaccination requirements for chickenpox and meningitis, because of course they have.

You may recall Wisconsin one of the GOP’s model states, where they have managed to gerrymander and election-rig so severely that they functionally cannot be voted out of power – in 2018, they lost the statewide popular vote and retained a supermajority in the legislature.

Various people studying the situation estimate that depending upon assumptions, it would take at least a 12 point loss to lose majority, but probably higher, with some reasonable estimates saying a 20 point loss to be removed from power.

Florida is very much acting like another model state right now.

This is what they want. Never forget that.
