today on wikipedia
Jan. 15th, 2015 05:29 pmToday’s LBGT erasure attempt on wikipedia is an editor removing Legend of Korra from LGBT-related television categories, because they decided nothing was there until the end scene and even that was questionable.
I have directed them to the DOZENS OF LINKS I have previously included on Korra’s character talk page on this very topic, covering seasons 3 and 4.
And this isn’t some newb, this is a veteran editor with a lot of edits.
Honestly, you want to tell me lesbian invisibility and bisexual erasure don’t exist? I will laugh at you until my eyes bleed because I have led every goddamn one of these fights and if I hadn’t, Asami Sato wouldn’t even have a page anymore. I’m not even 100% convinced Asami and Korra’s relationship would be mentioned. I mean, presumably, and hopefully, someone else would’ve stepped up - but I was the one who did, and without someone doing that? It’d just be all fucking gone.
