Sep. 7th, 2012 09:21 amI think the most interesting part of this article regarding harassment is how it talks about the fact that a real and significant subset of men believe they have a right to interaction with any given woman regardless of her desire for it.
And if they don't get it, and they kind they want, because they have a right to it - that the woman's consent is irrelevant - they feel justified in any response to force that reaction. And it never occurs to them that maybe, you know, she doesn't have to talk to them if she doesn't want to.
