Overwhelming support from liberal democrats for Gitmo, indefinite detention, process-free assassination of US citizens, drone attacks, and more? Mission fucking accomplished. I said before the election that Mr. Obama's primary task would be to embrace and extend the Bush legacy, and, wretchedly, I was exactly right.

Democrats, every single one of you owes Mr. Bush and the GOP a massive apology for every. single. lie. you. told. about caring about any of this whatsoever. I sure hope you enjoy your imperial police state, because that's what you want, and that's what you've got. Congratulations.
