A couple of months ago, S00j posted something about how she loved it when she had moments of studio inspiration, and I was thinking about how frustrated I was with the whole recording process and how slowly I was learning things and thought how I couldn't see how I'd ever have that feeling...
Until today. Mwah-ha-ha! It's awesome. I was listening to some playback of a vocal take I'd just done - the first one for "Thought You Knew," which finally has a bouzouki work/candidate track as of this morning - and I just started belting out this bit of improv over the vocalless bridge and it wasn't until the next verse that I realised, oh shit, that was good - what the fuck did I do?! and hit record and tried to do it again before I forgot! I think I mostly got it. ^_^
Anyway, that's it for now, my hands are complaining from typing. (It's a thing, it comes and goes. Doesn't affect playing, fortunately - completely different motions, somehow. Damn good thing, too!)
