The Professional

Cool, Levelheaded, Lethal

The Professional is the most dangerous of all villains. You do what you do better than anyone, because, as a Professional, you have standards.

The Professional is like the Crook in that they both desire money. But the Professional wants more than that. The Professional wants job satisfaction. It isn't sadism really, they just want to be sure that the job is done, and done well. No hard feelings, it's just business. Professionals prefer to work alone, but will work in groups if given incentive.

The greatest weakness of a Professional is risk. A Professional is business-like, but can't resist a challenge. They often use the word "worthy opponent." People like that are easily baited. And if a Professional is eventually cornered (not easy to do), they might lose it.

Sample Professionals: Deathstroke, Bullseye, Revanche, Shego.

I'm heading down to Lake Forest Park for my only-one-hour of busking. Stop by if you happen to be there! ^_^

...they didn't have that stupid one-hour rule! It's a big market, really popular, lots of people around, and they really get into performance. I started on Kohaku today and sang a lot (including some things I just haven't rehearsed singing but managed fine anyway, like Lukey and Old Black Rum, which I'll normally play but not sing) and generally just had a really good time for an hour. It's good that I made up some new cards earlier, too, because people asked. Someone was there who I kinda suspect (but do not know) also reads this journal - was that you? Or was I just making that up? ^_^

Oh, and I forgot - I tried a couple of new playing spots at Juanita Bay on Friday; one worked really well but was temporary because of too much sun (and dreadful, dreadful heat), the other worked not well at all, so I'll probably end up hanging out at the far end of the market again next time. But one woman asked for my contact information and talked with me about playing at her gallery opening (she didn't say when) and the guitarist from the group following me in the main 5-7pm slot was there early and asked if he could sit in with me, and that was great fun.

I need more places to play. Someone suggested Edmonds - I need to look that up. Next weekend: Bothell and Woodinville! And possibly some other places if I figure them out. ^_^

Mostly for myself: one of the people taking pictures (there were a few) of me at Lake Forest Park today said he'd have copies for me when I play there again in two weeks. On CD-ROM? He didn't say.
