Yay!

According to email I received last night, Initiative 937, for which I helped collect signatures, has met its signature target. There's still validation to go, so ballot status isn't confirmed yet - and hopefully being all-volunteer doesn't mean a higher than usual error rate - but hopefully we'll get that in a reasonable amount of time. There's a big signature turn-in event in Olympia today at 10:45 on the steps of the Capitol Building, and they're hoping volunteers (and supporters) can be there.

Now to get it passed in November. That won't be easy either. But it's important.
