1. All sympathies and condolences to Londoners. I don't think anybody on my friendslist is currently living or working there, but if I'm wrong, well, hopefully you're okay. Eep.
2. Oh good. Our health insurance rates are jumping again, mid-year, AND moving to a different company so all the deductibles reset, AND the new deductibles are much higher (after a strange flexaccount that you can use for certain expenses up to $1K/person is expired), AND the coverage percentage falls.
Fuck, in that, "at least I'm not blown up by a fucking asshole suicide bomber" kind of way.
The good things are a higher maximum payout, lifetime and we get mediocre prescription coverage again.
