On the way to art tonight - which was kind of short since nobody except me and [livejournal.com profile] spazzkat showed up and he wanted to go watch the season finale of Lost - I found out that cranky parking lady at the end of the road I walk to get there doesn't just have chickens; she has peacocks.

So I watched a peacock do the big display thing at a rooster. (Briefly, since I was late.) And I'm kind of thinking, "Dude, 0 for 2!" The rooster, for his part, seemed to be thinking something like . o O ( ? )

I took a couple of pictures but they didn't come out very well. I look forward to future days of more monex, and new digital cameras. Mmmmmmm, new camera. Someday!

Speaking of monex, I have five (5) showings of the house tomorrow. Given that I'm not really all that fond of, you know, people, this is insanity! But, hopefully at least one of them will decide to rent. I also took some pictures of the interiour that came out pretty well, so that's good too.

The bike ride back from murksouth was pretty brutal, though. Partly because I got nuts on the way there (2,6 almost the whole way, after not biking for over a week thanks to rain), and partly because of a strong headwind the entire way back. It felt like adding an entire extra gear. So I'm kind of wiped. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
