Bad week for hardware.

The HP IIIp doesn't seem to have a laser anymore. Anna's laptop fell over and died (and the transplanted parts around with the parts laptop to fix it, but still), her PDA doesn't acknowledge the power supply, and Mimi's old PowerMac fell over dead. Oh, and the basement lock's cylinder disintegrated while I was trying to put it back in after getting it rekeyed, and the hot tub no longer holds water.

On the other hand, at least I got a vaguely amusing picture out of the lock, which had apparently been installed by beavers.
