An action item against Bad Internet Bills

Congress – and I do mean congress in this case, not just Republicans for once – are bundling together a bunch of really bad internet bills and trying to get them loaded onto must-pass legislation.

As is often the case, it’s centred on privacy-breaking encryption bans, an issue which has become worse, not better, over time given ever-more-ravenous corporate surveillance.

Anyway, this is a #BadInternetBills action item for you. The Electronic Freedom Foundation has put together a simple contact page for going at your Federal representatives. Take a few minutes, go fill it out, get it done TODAY. Timeliness matters.
