ART with LARGE POWER TOOLS is FUN.
Jan. 16th, 2003 07:18 pmI started cutting the huge aluminium grate into pieces for All the Moons of Mongo today.
It was much easier than I thought. Fuckoff loud, of course! But that's what earplugs are for. Between that and the gloves and a good cutting angle, it came apart surprisingly quickly. But mostly, as I hefted the reciprocating saw into the air like a smaller, prettier Ash waving a chainsaw, I couldn't not hear Regis's voice in my head, saying, "Oooh, baby" and giggled so hard I had to stop for almost two minutes.
I'm really pleased that ART! is working again. Over the last few weeks, it's been coming back. There are ideas massing in the back of my head, I can feel them back there. They're not coming forward yet, not quite! But I have plenty to do until they show up, because I've got things going again. It be good.
No pictures now. Pictures later. No pictures now. ^_^
