A lot of the negative reaction I've seen has also been about the change in overall philosophy...that Overwatch started out with the explicit mission statement that EVERYONE gets the same access to heroes ALL THE TIME. But you raise a good point in that...does everyone actually need that access immediately? Does that access serve a purpose?

Finding out that most people play SUCH a small number of heroes was surprising. I'm proficient at 3 supports as well (Zen, Mercy, Moira) and passable at Baptiste. For tank I'm basically a Sigma one trick. DPS is overwhelmingly Reaper, with some Torb and Sym on certain maps, and sometimes Mei, Junk, and Sombra.

Anyway, my one concern with the heroes in the battlepass was that some people would have it for Competitive and some wouldn't, but that's solved with the new hero being locked out of Comp for two weeks, which gives anyone who actually thinks they'll play them enough time to earn them.

Beyond that, I'm just happy to see some life in the game again. I hope things go well for it and that it's just as fun as it's always been. And as a major Support player, I'm pretty psyched for Kiriko!
