Date: 2021-07-18 10:02 pm (UTC)More specifically, that's two 20" wide box fans (or if slightly less than 40" actual, one 20" and one 18") blowing out all night sucking the heat out of the hottest floor as ground floor air is pulled up and outside air is pulled in, particularly if you have ground floor windows you can put intake fans into. If you're comfortable leaving ground floor windows open at night. (We have a couple which we are, and some which we aren't.)
It's not even in a bedroom (apparently?) so you don't have to care about fan noise. You can make a pretty good heat chimney with that. If the stairwells are open.
I mean, it's not my house, what the hell do I know, but if that 40" window opens it sounds like really good heat chimney exhaust opportunity.
