In one case, I simply gave up on responding to one of these idiots because he clearly rejected any evidence other than "masks don't work, it's just the flu, only old/sick/weak people die" and I got tired of his sealioning -- especially when he showed himself to be a "libertarian" who seemed convinced that if there was no government, people would form communities (like HOAs) that were self-policing, and it would never collapse into gansterism -- or if you were lucky, feudalism. There's a limit to how many unicorn-hunters I can tolerate.
