This is the sabotage edition. It's a combination of disinformation, posturing, and, as always, sabotage. The AP poll saying only half of Americans would get a vaccine is particularly worrying - when you dig a little further, you find it's heavily driven by Republicans. But not only.

And as always, this is bullshit. Cascadia Now.

ReOpen NC organizer's husband says he's 'willing to kill' in fight against government in COVID-19 pandemic

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- As the ReOpen NC protesters prepared for yet another rally in downtown Raleigh, one of the organizer's husbands suggested he's willing to kill people and sacrifice his own life for the cause.

Video of him making the statements surfaced days before the group was scheduled to have five "freedom rallies" across the state on Monday in Charlotte, Raleigh, Greensboro, Wilmington and Asheville.

"Are we willing to kill people? Are we willing to lay our lives down? We have to say yes," Adam Smith said in a Facebook Live video posted on Friday, according to our newsgathering partners at The News&Observer.

The group has held marches in downtown Raleigh for the past several weeks in an attempt to pressure lawmakers to reopen the state. North Carolina moved to Phase 2 of its reopening plan on Friday.

"If you bring force, we're gonna bring force," he later said. "If you bring guns, we're gonna bring guns. If you're armed with this, we're gonna be armed with this."

AP-NORC poll: Half of Americans would get a COVID-19 vaccine

Only about half of Americans say they would get a COVID-19 vaccine if the scientists working furiously to create one succeed, a number that’s surprisingly low considering the effort going into the global race for a vaccine.

But more people might eventually roll up their sleeves: The new poll from The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research found 31% simply weren’t sure if they’d get vaccinated. Another 1 in 5 said they’d refuse.

Health experts already worry about the whiplash if vaccine promises like President Donald Trump’s goal of a 300 million-dose stockpile by January fail. Only time and science will tell -- and the new poll shows the public is indeed skeptical.

Georgia governor aims to roll back more coronavirus restrictions

'We can’t keep fighting the virus from our living room.'

Gov. Brian Kemp said Wednesday that he’ll continue to roll back coronavirus restrictions as long as residents abide by safety guidelines, adding that his decision to allow more businesses to reopen is “reinvigorating” the state’s stalled economy.

During a visit to a Macon hospital, Kemp said Georgia’s data “continue to look really good,” and he downplayed figures that show a recent rise in coronavirus cases. Asked whether he would lift more regulations, he said he was confident Georgians would “follow the guidance” and let him do so.

“It’s one reason I opened up the state when I did. I felt like our people had learned a lot. They get it. They know what they need to do,” he said. “We can’t keep fighting the virus from our living room.”

[THREAD]

RESIGN: Today we learned that House Speaker twitter.com/MikeTurzai has known that Republican Members have either tested positive, or been quarantined, and withheld this information from Democrats including those of us who serve on the committees with those members!

[NEXT THREAD]

These same Members were among those leading the daily shouts to reopen the state. They yelled and screamed about it being safe for others across the state to gather, while they were testing positive and notifying each other, but none of the Democrats that work with them!

[NEXT THREAD]

One particular Committee appears to be hardest hit, & it’s a Committee I serve on that has met more than any other in the State during the pandemic. Our Members lives, and the lives of their families, were put in grave risk to protect the LIE that people are safe to gather.
