I mean, yes. Do not misunderstand. 45 is betraying allies and handing them to a dictator for slaughter. Straight up. That's not new, but it's particularly stark, and anybody who trusts the US as an ally at this point is either desperate enough to have no choice, or a fucking fool. (The Kurds are the former. They've been through this shit a lot, and probably had a timer set.)

But losing the mandate of heaven?! The fucking mandate of heaven, Robertson? Fucking really?

I can't even figure out which revolts me more. Speaking for god or invoking a classical justification to support absolute Imperial rule in China. I really can't. The fact that this decrepit fuckface hasn't been struck by lightning is pretty much proof there is no god, and the fact that the fundamentalist movement still swallows this horseshit by the mouthful - choking it down with a smile as fast as he can spit it out - proves yet again that there's not one. single. shred. of sincerity in anything they do or think except in their absolute lust for power and sadism towards their chosen hated ones.

Some years ago, at an anti-marriage-rights rally I was protesting outside, one of them stopped with his little cadre of fellow-travellers, and started screaming at us, "IT'S NOT FEAR, IT'S CONTEMPT!" over and over again. It was probably the one and only true thing said by a fundamentalist that day, a rare moment of honesty from an intellectually bankrupt hate-movement-cum-death cult, and at this point, all I can say is...
