Meet Zoe. I just got her home a little while ago and got her feed and drink and bath and stuff cleaned out. I'll need to take her to a birdie vet soon so she can be checked over and her wingfeathers clipped so I can let her come out of her cage. She's towards the end of a molting cycle so is a little cranky right now, but is being social and has so far dealt pretty well with being moved yet again. She's a bit more lungy today than the last time I met her, but she's already jealous of Polly (and gets cranky when I pick Polly up near her) and is eating fine.
Also, she can see out both of the windows that you can see the edges of in the picture. One faces the front porch, which means in addition to having a parrot, we have a new doorbell. We'll have to see whether she gets used to the idea of people coming to the door, because right now, she makes this really strange, loud, somewhat alarmed noise. But she calmed down when we answered it.
