Raccoon Redux

solarbirdA second raccoon has found Cirrus's feed dish. We're going to have to give them names, now that we know there's more than one; this new raccoon is still big, but isn't nearly as big as the first (who may be now named Gordo, but may not). It's also much less confident, and had no tail - just a tiny stub of one. (Which is why it may be named "Stubby.") It seems fine otherwise, so we don't know how it would have gotten injured - a car, maybe, or a fight with a dog...
Like Gordo, Stubby considered coming back up the stairs while we were there watching it, but instead of Gordo's "Are you gonna do anything? Are you gonna do anything? 'Cause if you're not, I'm eatin'." attitude, it was much more clearly a "...please feed me...?" sort of thing.
Again, of course, I have no pictures. Maybe I should start keeping the camera by the back door.
