I am sadly almost entirely unsurprised by this. The business world is basically fucking terrified that one of the major players has basically just gone "thank you for pressing the self-destruct button" and is sticking its fingers in its ears so it doesn't have to hear everything falling apart around it.
"You must report to your child's school if your child is foreign" (deadline apparently yesterday).
"Proposal to require employers to report number of 'foreign employees'" (exact state of proposal seems to vary with the phase of something, the "currently on hold" seems to currently be on hold, so this MAY go forward).
I doubt the two UKIP MEPs having a fistfight has made any difference, but, well, there you are.
