I've been playing Solarbird as an RPG character of sorts for a long time.

That I remember - Scotland, mostly in the area between Glasgow and Edinburgh, for 10 days. Not long enough, but that's how much money we had!

The usual way. Somebody rented a barn, brought in some music, stuff like that.

34. TELL US ABOUT ANY OF YOUR BIRTHDAYS:

Nobody really celebrated my birthday until college, when a bunch of friends got together and threw me a surprise birthday party because they knew I'd never had one. Instead of cake, Sue put a bunch of pop-tarts together with candles on top because when she'd been trying to get me to say what kind of cake I like, she couldn't get a coherent answer out of me without risking spilling the beans. The closest she'd been able to come was asking me what kind of pastries I liked, and I said, "um... pop tarts?" So: pop tart cake.

I love everybody in that crowd dearly and it was perfect.

35. WOULD YOU RATHER BE A HOBBIT, AN ELF OR A DWARF?

I am an elf.

1. Almost every house in a two block radius; selected houses within six blocks, followed by renovations as appropriate. Particularly on mine!
2. A little tropical island and a sign that says, "No trespassing."
3. Tracts of undeveloped or significantly underdeveloped land in urban or near-urban areas, which I would proceed to re-forest.
4. Buying my collegiate Alma Mater and then SHUTTING IT DOWN!
