Go look at my Masquerade photos for ChiCon 7. The con had no plans for a fan photo area. Three of us made one, with the collusion of the official photographer (Thanks, Kerry!) some donated materials and what we found. It was set up in a broad hallway, near the auditorium where the Masquerade was held.

Fandom has a remarkably high percentage of "Get 'er done!" folks. Though this is the first time I've heard someone refer to the process as "Doctor Whoing." :-)
