Avatar: The Last Airbender: "Sozin's Comet"

If the two-hour series finale for Avatar: The Last Airbender, "Sozin's Comet," doesn't win a goddamn fleet of awards, something is horribly, horribly wrong. I have to know one thing: did the producers know, when they hired him, that Dante Basco was going to be completely freaking inadequate to the destiny they gave his character? I mean, come on, that was totally phoned in.
