R.I.P. Woodlock - May 1991-December 2002
I was kind of afraid of this...
I came downstairs this morning, and Woodlock was dead. I wasn't at all surprirsed, really. He came out again yesterday, and his behaviour was pretty abnormal; all he wanted was warmth. So I held him in my robe as long as I could, before putting him back by the food tray in his cage, where he sat, and didn't eat.
He's never not been interested in eating before.
He didn't move much after that, I don't think. He just kind of slumped and fell over in the night.
Rainsong is alive and seems completely oblivious, but, well, brain the size of a lentil. I'll get her one of those "birdie-buddy" soft cuddle things, and hopefully that will help.
Goodbye, Woodlock. We'll miss you.
