Conservative punditry attacks previous GOP candidate for condemning the KKK

Laura Ingraham (The Laura Ingraham Show, Fox News) and Tucker Carlson (Fox News, The Daily Caller) are attacking previous GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney for condemning political support from the Ku Klux Klan, and Trump's de facto acceptance thereof.

I'd really thought this might finally be the break point, where Trump's white supremacy campaign runs aground, where people go, "uh... the KKK?" and hit a wall. But...

...I guess not. I guess it's all just going to go all the way back to 1956 and "N****R N****R N****R" chants.

This is unforgivable. I've made my own screenshots for the record, in case these tweets get deleted, but this link goes to a tweet with screencaps of both.

I just. How does a purported presidential candidate bald-facedly claim not to know who the KKK are??? I am not a fan of Mitt Romney, and who knows what he actually believes in his heart, but it seems to me that what he said is the only realistic stance a candidate should be able to take. I can't even with this country.
