Since it wouldn't be that hard for anyone who pays attention to these things to guess the identity of the blog I mentioned, I have to say, having now read the blog entry, they don't actually defend Santelli (except to the extent of saying "What he said was just stupid, not racist"). They attack someone else for attacking Santelli, basically because they already don't like that person for reasons having nothing to do with his post there (well, except for his slander of various ethnic groups, on which subject I agree with them).

So, juvenile and a bit obsessed to a counterproductive degree, but not wingnuts. =)
