As someone who agrees w/you on this particular general election (not necessarily past ones), solarbird has been calling for "new parties now!" for about a year. Which is as long as I've been reading her blog.

She has mentioned in my blog that she would love to see both parties split (as would I; I think we would have our best chance at actual accountability to the general public that way).

She just disagrees w/you about this particular presidential election. I think she's wrong in her . . . "support" (bad word but I can't think of a substitute w/better meaning) for Obama, for reasons I just stated elsewhere, but she seriously has thought a lot about what you're talking about and for the most part draws similar conclusions to where I think you are coming from.
